It is not uncommon for marketing professionals to have their first introduction to the AMA when they are seeking a channel for networking in a job search. We are proud to serve them well in that capacity, and very often find that they not only stay engaged with us for ongoing networking and professional development, but also actively work to pay the assistance forward.
Our forum for connecting Job Seekers, Recruiters and the broader hiring and talent community is the Job Transition Group, one of our longest running Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
We meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at the Kenwood Towers located 8044 Montgomery Road at the 1st Floor Conference Room (next to Skip’s Deli). The SIG is a support/networking group assisting professionals seeking careers in sales, marketing, public relations, event planning and fundraising. There is no cost to attend.
