Topic: 360 degree approach to optimizing tradeshow leads
Facilitators: Mitch Tidman, Founder, Palladium Marketing and  Don Lamping,  Director of Sales Operations, Zimmer/Biomet

According to Sarah Steimer in a recent national AMA publication, tradeshows are still “best bet for B2B marketers” (see article here). With the explosion of digital media, online purchasing, and social, it’s a wonder tradeshows still hold such a prominent place in the minds and budgets of many companies. Still, many organizations do such a poor job extracting the benefit from having many of their prospects just 10 feet away from them. In this talk, Mitch Tidman and Don Lamping will look at best practices for increasing traffic to the booth, using technology to qualify visitors, and making sure leads don’t evaporate into thin air after the show.

Facilitators:

Mitch Tidman, founder of Palladium Marketing has been managing events and shows across the globe for over 25 years, initially on the agency side in Europe, and then on the corporate side for Hill-Rom, in the global medical device industry.

About 2 years ago, Mitch left the corporate World to set up Palladium Marketing, which specializes in B2B APP development, with a focus on sales and marketing enablement solutions. Palladium has two proprietary sales enablement apps, Salestratus and Salestratus Spark, the latter of which is specifically designed to help companies make a significant positive change in their lead capture efforts from shows.

Don Lamping, is a Director of Sales Operations at Zimmer/Biomet, a leading orthopedics company which presents at more than 200 tradeshows per year. One of Don’s strengths is using SalesForce.com to help manage the flow of leads from events into the opportunity pipeline, and demonstrate ROI from tradeshow campaigns. Don is a certified SalesForce.com cloud consultant and administrator and is a master on all things CRM.

About this SIG: Provides relevant and timely B2B resources, insights, and interaction to an ever-expanding group of attendees in a collegial, real-world, problem-solving environment. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
