Topic: How Marketers Can Partner With Influencers to Amplify Their Brand’s Message
Facilitator: Lauren Lillis, Media Content Planner, Curiosity Advertising
Do you know who the influencers are in your industry? If you’re shaking your head no, then you’re likely missing a huge opportunity to build brand awareness and consideration by activating their audience and engaging them with your unique products or services.
These days, influencer marketing is bigger than ever, and it goes far beyond blogger outreach. Bloggers don’t just publish content on their blog anymore—they are savvy social media influencers, with huge fanbases across channels. They reach their audience all day through every avenue, whether it’s live-streaming from an event on Periscope, Instagramming their #OOTD (outfit of the day), or guest blogging on a brand’s website.
Influencers are always looking for new content to share that will resonate with their audience and are eager to work with brands that align with their personal voice. In this SIG, find answers to the questions you have about activating an influencer campaign as a part of your marketing strategy. Through case studies and best practices, you’ll learn how to:
- Find the right influencers to partner with your brand
- Work with influencers to create authentic and relevant content
- Increase brand awareness by activating and engaging an influencer’s audience
- Measure the success of your influencer campaigns
Lauren Lillis, Media Content Planner at Curiosity Advertising, works with brands across industries to create smart content strategies that deliver value to their audience and ladder up to the brand’s core business goals. Prior to joining Curiosity earlier this year, Lauren engaged DIYers as Assistant Brand Manager at The Gorilla Glue Company, and by partnering with influencers and re-booting the adhesive brand’s award-winning social media program, she helped Gorilla’s target audience find the confidence to tackle their toughest jobs. She also worked as Social Media Manager at U.S. Bank, where she re-developed their social media strategy to give customers of the Forbes 500 company the financial tools to Power their Possible. Outside of her day job, Lauren runs a blog called The Cincinnista, and her unique experience from the agency, client and influencer sides of the business helps her deliver the best possible content strategy for the brands she works with.
