Sales & Marketing Leadership SIG
Topic: The Four Key Questions to Drive a Successful Strategic Marketing Plan
Facilitator: Amy Connor, CMO On-Loan with AAA Strategic Growth Advisors
Over Amy’s corporate career and into her consulting and advisory world she realized that there were four key questions that drive the development of every successful marketing strategy. In her advisory role, she works with many mid-market business leaders and discovered some of the challenges they face with building and implementing a successful marketing plan. The underlying questions were the same. The approach to answer them was similar. The outcome looked different because the environments, customers, and competitors were vastly different.
For her mid-market clients, she realized the business leaders didn’t understand how ‘marketing’ could help them because they considered marketing a supporting execution function. Through the power of a few key questions, Amy is able to guide critical strategic decisions and impactful execution in these businesses.
Amy will share the 4 key questions that she uses to guide organizations to increase sales, ROI, and customer loyalty. She will give examples of how they have helped companies big and small. She will help you consider how you can leverage these questions every day as well.
Amy Connor, Chief Marketing Officer On-Loan with AAA Strategic Growth Advisors. The firm serves mid-market companies, helping them with strategic focus and tactical execution guidance that they need to build on their success.
Amy is a classically trained business and marketing executive. For over 20 years, she has successfully driven growth with her ability to quickly assess business opportunities and lead strategic and actionable roadmaps.
Amy started her career at The Iams Company when it was privately held. She was a part of the entrepreneurial team that tripled the business within a decade. The company culture included both stringent strategic business planning and hands-on activities. Through this experience, Amy developed the ability to lead strategy and roll up her sleeves to “get it done.” She brought with her the discipline and passion to help “big companies think and move like small ones” at both Procter & Gamble and Luxottica.
In 2016 Amy returned to her entrepreneurial roots and started AAA Strategic Growth Advisors in 2016.
