In May, the AMA Support Center unveiled the “Next AMA brand”. Cincinnati was among the first of all 74 chapters to adopt the new brand locally. With a new look, a new tagline, “Answers in Action”, and its first-ever Intellectual Agenda, the organization is squarely focused on its mission “to be the most relevant force and voice shaping marketing around the world; an essential community for marketers.”
In a launch event on Thursday, August 11, AMA Cincinnati kicks off the fiscal year and the new brand with a special address by AMA CEO Russ Klein.
Klein recently explained the role of the Chapters in the broader AMA organization. “It is chapter leaders who’ve built a sense of interconnectedness and created a hardworking love of marketing in your communities, developing people’s fullest capacities to create something wonderful together. I think leadership today is about that sort of alchemy. Bring back the hidden dimensions of our human activities and interactions.”
