The Job Transition Group connects job seekers, recruiters and hiring managers across Cincinnati’s employer base, from agencies and startups to small businesses and corporate enterprises.
AMA Cincinnati’s Job Transition Group is a support/networking group assisting professionals seeking careers in marketing and related functions, including sales, public relations, graphic design, advertising, brand management, event planning, project management, business leadership, etc. We connect marketers to new opportunities and recruiters to top talent.
Our monthly sessions are led by Pat Frew, past AMA President, and founder of this community. Attendees briefly share their broad experience level, what they envision their next “perfect job” to look like, and name several target companies where others in the group can help provide connection points. We also share community resources and networking opportunities, many of them free, where job seekers can enhance contacts.
The sessions are open to members and guests – anyone looking to make a career move, is new to the region or looking to pivot into marketing from an adjacent practice or discipline. We’ve helped thousands of people connect to new opportunities.
Finding Great Opportunities
While the community is our primary support system, we also manage an active online Job Board, open to both job seekers and job posters. The service, including a resume database and consolidation of marketing and related jobs posted directly and from other relevant job boards, is free for job seekers.
Companies and recruiters wishing to post jobs can use us as a direct channel to top marketing talent. Members receive discounts on single job posts and bulk posting packages. Check it out to search for jobs, post a job, or get more info!
