January 16: Sales & Marketing Leadership SIG – Why SEO is Actually All About Content Marketing

Speaker: Carolyn Dickerson, Digital Marketing Consultant
Good SEO integrates with content marketing to drive more traffic to your website, blog or on-line store and gain more customers, make sales and fulfill your business purpose. Your content needs to be written in the right language — the language your customer or user is using when searching. Learn how to find out what keywords users search to find products and services and what keywords competitors leverage to make their products and services more visible in search engine results. The tricky part is applying those keywords to your website and internet marketing strategy so that they bring you customers. You can weave targeted keywords into every aspect of website and internet marketing to increase brand awareness, leads, and revenue.

January 18: B2B Marketing SIG – How to Work with Bloggers and Influencers on Native Advertising Campaigns
7:45 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. at OfficeKey Rookwood
Speaker: Marcelina Robledo, Robledo Media Consulting
Marketers are always struggling with ways to optimize their engagement with their audience. Working with bloggers and influencers who have a loyal following can be an efficient way to connect directly to the desired audience, especially with native advertising campaigns and affiliate marketing.

January 24: Marketing Research SIG – Making Content Relevant to the C-Suite: Luxottica Retail’s Story
7:45 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. at OfficeKey Rookwood
Speaker: Chris Grabarkiewicz-Davis PhD – President, Client Intelligence, LLC
In 2013, Luxottica Retail’s executives approached Chris with a challenge: how could the businesses get smarter about investing in activity that will deliver brand and business growth?  The resulting journey included integrating marketing, insights, copy tests, operations, and external data to forecast business results.   By including insights and copy test scores we were able to show that great content drove great business results. This had a dramatic impact on how they created content, they evolved from inconsistent content development processes to a consistent one with strong business results. Come hear Chris speak and learn the steps Luxottica’s insights and marketing team took to get organizational buy-in, more effective marketing, and stronger business results.
