B2B Marketing SIG
Facilitator: Chris Ryan, Vice President Client Services, DeanHouston, Inc.
Basics: What everyone expects. Where we all compete. Where our services are commoditized. How can we rise above the status quo whether working in an internal marketing team or running a marketing firm?
-Table stakes (tactical executions, standard agency competencies)
-Know your customer—approaching a new client, either at a new job or with a new client
-Being one with your customer
-The secret Ingredient: Time
-Building value builds your “brand”
Chris Ryan, Vice President Client Services, DeanHouston, Inc.
A career in media and marketing have given Chris a solid foundation in the strategies required in client service. The past 6 years have found Chris helping to lead Cincinnati’s fastest-growing B2B agency: DeanHouston, Inc. In an environment where generalists are often being replaced by specialists in our fast-paced industry, Chris has found success generating ideas and loyal working relationships with his clients. In this session, you will learn how to be both a generalist and an indispensable member of your client’s marketing team. Prior to DeanHouston, Chris has worked for Northlich, Cincinnati and Grey Advertising. His “first career” was on the media side, working for radio groups in San Diego, California and Tucson, Arizona.
