Facilitator: Cornel Warren, Director of Marketing & Inside Sales at SigmaTEK Systems
Cornel will share her company’s journey in developing a comprehensive marketing plan and testing various channels. The marketing plan called for phasing out certain channels and trying four new channels — for a total of 23 channels. To gain traction and increase sales, marketing effort included core channels, promising channels and long-shot channels. Through her cohesive approach Cornell set measures of success and the company learned what marketing channels had the most impact on sales and what channels needed more attention. Planning, testing, measuring and adjusting is the theme that the company is continuing in 2018.
Cornel Warren is a mother of two and wife of one who serves as the Director of Marketing & Inside Sales at SigmaTEK Systems, the global software company that creates and enhances SigmaNEST, industry leading nesting software. For the last eleven years, Cornel has immersed herself in the tactical application of marketing theory and technology for B2B organizations. Prior to her current role, Cornel co-founded the digital marketing agency SEO Exposed, which she and her partner sold to Orchard in 2016. In addition to heading up SigmaTEK’s global marketing team, Cornel Warren manages the US Inside Sales Team, leading the charge to help professional fabricators succeed by equipping them for the high-tech future of industrial manufacturing.
Cornel earned her MBA from Northern Kentucky University with an emphasis in marketing and holds a Bachelors of Political Philosophy from Cedarville University. She enjoys long, romantic walks down every aisle at Target.
