The level of depth to which a marketer is requested to intervene in the sales pipeline may vary from company to company but there is no question the trend towards more growth responsibility is firmly entrenched, and modern marketers need to be ready.
With the advent of digital technology, CRM, marketing automation, LinkedIN, and other tools, there is a definite shift of the marketing mindset from creative resource to business growth contributor.
