Digital Marketing and Technology Community – Virtual Meeting
Topic: Be The Most Persuasive Person In The Room
Facilitator: Betsy Kent, founder of Be Visible
Interactive Elevator Speech Workshop
Who are you?
What do you do?
How do you do it?
Who do you do it for?
And why are you the best choice?
If you’re in front of a group, introducing yourself at a networking event, or just having a casual conversation with someone you just met, you want people to listen to you. When you can answer those five questions quickly, you have a persuasive elevator speech.
A well-thought-out elevator speech makes you persuasive instead of salesy. Confident instead of nervous. Memorable instead of forgettable. Persuasive elevator speeches are the result of total clarity about:
- Your ideal customers
- What they feel and think
- The way they describe their problem
- What they want instead
- Your true value
Betsy Kent spent 20 years in the marketing and advertising industry in New York City. During that time, she developed a formula designed to help her clients stand out from their competitors and be irresistible to their ideal customers.
Her formula is the foundation of Be The Most Persuasive Person in the Room, an interactive elevator speech workshop that teaches businesspeople how to tell their story and get the right people to listen – in 60-seconds or less.
To date, she hundreds of business owners and marketers have been trained in her Betsy’s method. They report dramatic improvements in self-confidence and measurable increases in their bottom line.
Betsy Kent is a native of Akron, Ohio, and a graduate of UC. After 30 years, she came back to the Cincinnati area – and delighted to be back.
