How can we connect marketers to the people seeing their digital advertising efforts and/or visiting their website (or even their competition’s website)?
Digital marketing and web usage is growing, that much is pretty undebatable. With that, marketing strategies are becoming even more data driven while constantly being optimized for success. The tools in the industry are getting better and better and the research side is becoming ever more effective at connecting the dots on some of the marketing data. Cookies can help track your own advertising and website data, digital meters can collect data while helping you with a broader scope of the industry or marketplace, and mobile has incredible location capabilities. The one thing that can really pull it all together is the ability to talk to actual people based off of the ad they actually saw, the website they actually went to, the device they used, etc. This is where marketers and researchers can overlap and align to bring further success to campaigns.
