Topic: What Small Business Can Learn from Big Business Messaging?
Facilitator: Rob Tuttle, Teradata Global Account Manager for the P&G Account
Do you think about how P&G plans and distributes their marketing message? It’s an enormous challenge for an organization with 100+ brands in 100+ countries.
For more than five years, P&G has been deploying an industry leading “direct to consumer” communications capability called “1, Consumer Place.” This program is designed to help P&G better understand their consumers’ needs and preferences and to also strengthen customer segmentation and brand messaging within and across marketing programs. But it turns out, P&G’s messaging was not as effective as it could be.
Rob Tuttle, Teradata Global Account Manager for P&G, will share how P&G discovered that their messaging was off and how they adjusted their approach to better indentify with the individual consumer. Some of these techniques may also apply to your business to ensure you reach your target customer with a relevant and timely message. While this has a focus on B2C, you will learn some techniques on how to apply the approach to B2B as well.
