Cincinnati is Brand Capital, USA. From startups to decades-old companies going through turnarounds or rebirths, our entrants shared their brand or rebrand process with us–from old versus new, graphics, messaging, rollout, and education.

BE NKY Growth Partnership is the economic development company for Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties. Since 1987, BE NKY has led the successful location or expansion of 765 business projects, representing more than 74,150 primary industry jobs created with capital investments of more than $9.3 billion. 

The BE NKY Growth Partnership marketing team consists of Vice President of Marketing and Communications Cheryl Besl and Communications Specialist Sydney Murray. Cheryl joined BE NKY as Director of Marketing in September 2019. She has extensive experience in leading communications, public relations, and marketing campaigns for a variety of companies and non-profit organizations. Sydney previously worked as a newspaper reporter, including for The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Newark Advocate, and The Harrison Press. She also served on the board of the Greater Harrison Chamber of Commerce from 2020-2021. Both Cheryl and Sydney are graduates of Indiana University.

Brandience is a retail-minded agency that quickly gets to the heart of every challenge. Our creativity is supercharged by data resulting in bigger, bolder ideas that deliver powerful results for our clients. We live at the intersection of brand, experience, science, and audience — that’s where we got our name.

The Brandience Team for this project begins at the top with our CEO, Brian McHale, who led the strategic direction for the brand refresh. The creative effort was led by our Executive Creative Director, Tim Hogan, who refreshed the brand story and tagline. We tapped into the talents of a local partner and renowned package design specialist, Keith Neltner, to assist with the brand refresh. Additional creative support was provided by Brandience Art Director, Matt Roettgers and Associate Creative Director, Mollie Neff. The project was expertly managed by Account Executive, Desi Gilliland with additional strategic support from Andrea Bussard.

Xavier Element is a student-led, student-run digital media agency and student consultancy. Our team works with internal and external clients to provide marketing and other consulting services. We strive to connect clients with passionate and driven students who solve business challenges with a unique Gen-Z perspective. Since our January 2022 launch, we have employed over 40 Student Consultants and served more than 25 clients.

The Xavier Element is a student-led and student-run digital marketing agency. Our team is made up of Student Leads, Student Consultants, and Faculty & Staff Advisors.

Our Student Leaders are:

  • Maggie Pryor, President & Co-Founder, Senior Entrepreneurship and Marketing double major with a minor in Finance
  • Will Postler, Marketing Student Lead, Junior Marketing and Entrepreneurship double major
  • Bree Gayman, Creative Student Lead, Junior Graphic Design Major with a track in Marketing and Computer Science
