Covington Business Council 50th Anniversary Celebration

The Covington Business Council is a member-centric business advocacy organization whose mission is to advocate for a healthy business climate in Covington. During 2022 the Council surpassed the 500-member organization mark, an all-time high. The CBC hosts more than 100 networking events annually helping member businesses achieve growth.

The three-county Northern Kentucky region is one of the fastest growing, most vibrant portion of the Greater Cincinnati region. Covington Business Council (CBC), a membership-based business advocacy group in Covington, NKY’s largest city. The Council has always been an admired business organization to many knowledgeable Covington small business and civic leaders, but it has not been on the radar of the entire tri-state area. Existing as a membership organization, positive notoriety/word of mouth is critical to being more top of mind in the Greater Cincinnati business community. The CBC sought to change that narrative.

Kenton County Public Library

Kenton County Public Library – Summer Reading Celebration

The Kenton County Public Library serves the entire community, promoting literacy and lifelong learning and inspiring imagination through a wide variety of resources and services. We help people connect — in person and online — with welcoming, safe places that encourage exploration, celebrate discovery and expand opportunities for individual and communal growth.

Gina Stegner has spent the last 16 years as the Public Relations and Social Media Coordinator for the Kenton County Public Library. She received her certification in Social Media Strategy in 2021. Before joining the library, she was a reporter for local newspapers and magazines. Stegner leads the library’s Summer Reading Celebration, the organization’s largest annual campaign, aiming to foster reading habits in the community. Working closely with the library’s talented graphic designer, Heather Elstun, Stegner manages marketing, community partnerships and media outreach, ensuring the SRC campaign’s continued success.

A leader in catastrophe exposed property insurance, SageSure delivers reliable products, exceptional customer experiences, and strong underwriting results in challenging markets. SageSure operates in 14 states providing home, flood, and commercial insurance. With more than $1 billion of inforce premium, SageSure is the largest residential property insurance MGU in the US.

Impact Week is a cross-functional effort that draws on the strengths of our People Team, the DEI Council, and the Marketing Team at SageSure. Each function plays an integral role in the success of this event. The People Team brought oversight, strategy, and engagement, our DEI Council leveraged our culture of belonging and Marketing oversaw communication to rally the workforce to make an impact for the greater good.
