Client Overview
The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation aims to increase awareness and promote opportunities for individuals in the Greater Cincinnati area to participate in adaptive sports and recreation in order to improve their quality of life.
They envision a community where people can fully participate in competitive and leisure activities regardless of ability.
Problem Statement
The Bridge Adaptive came to AMA Cincinnati Agency with short and long-term goals:
Short Term
-
Grow participation in adaptive sports by promoting and creating events and equipment
-
Raise awareness, adoption, and support of the concept, availability, and positive impact of adaptive sports
-
Overcome time constraints of the all-volunteer working board (who all have day jobs) to enable ongoing growth and engagement
Long Term
- Building a pipeline of participants for their event offerings
- Integration into every occupational and physical therapy facility in Greater Cincinnati
- Becoming a model for other cities
- Opening an adaptive sports facility
Outcomes
The AMA Cincinnati Agency team set a primary goal of delivering a foundational marketing plan, and structuring training and tools to enable The Bridge to be self-sufficient in their ongoing efforts to expand awareness and engagement for the organization.
Additionally, the team developed long-term strategy recommendations and made recommendations for website optimization.
