WordCamp Cincinnati Returns
Are you a WordPress enthusiast or looking for ways to improve your website? You should check out what WordCamp Cincinnati 2017 has to offer. This locally organized two day conference returns for a second year and will focus on a wide variety of topics ranging from WordPress 101 to turning your WP love into a certified side hustle. There is something for everyone.
WordPress is the open source content management system that runs the AMA Cincinnati website. It offers our organization an awesome way to share content with our members in a manner that is very collaborative, flexible, and cost effective. According to WPBeginner, big name brands like The Walt Disney Company, Facebook Newsroom, The Mozilla Blog, and Mercedes-Benz use WordPress. Non-profit and for profit companies and organizations have had great success using this CMS. If you are not already using WordPress, it is worth looking into.
WordCamp offers a great selection of speakers including our own Carolyn Dickerson. Register to attend her presentation and gain valuable insights on website design and migrations. Whether you are new to WordPress or an experienced blogger or web developer, this is a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional development. Check out the full schedule on the WordCamp Cincinnati 2017 website.
The conference will be held on Saturday, November 11th and Sunday, November 12th at the Tangeman University Center on the University of Cincinnati campus. The total cost is $40.00 and includes:
- Two day admission
- Afterparty admission on Saturday at Catskellers
- Lunch & snacks on both days
